Yes, we had a snow day in Arizona! We had to make about an hour and a half- two hour drive up north to Flagstaff, but there is snow here. And a ton of it! The state just had a huge storm roll through last week and the whole time I was waiting for it to end so we could go up there and Harper could have her first real snow day. We took her up to Park City in December of 2014 but she was so little that there really wasn’t much playing happening, so this was such a fun trip for us. Also, Wyatt’s born and raised here in the desert and hadn’t really spent any time up north when there was snow so he was thrilled to play in it as well. Honestly, I’m not really sure which of the three of us had the best time! We did bring a sled but Harper pretty much wanted nothing to do with it and being pregnant I thought it was probably safer for me not to be getting wild on it either, so we just ran around in the powder. We showed her the fine art of snowballs and not sinking up to her neck in the fluff. It was kind of a bummer that we only really had time for a day trip but since we all had so much fun we’re planning on driving up a few more times before it warms up too much. These are some of my favorite pictures that I’ve ever taken, you can totally see the happiness on all of our faces. Harper cried when it was time to leave but literally slept the whole way home, till next time!
